Fingered Limpet: Lottia digitalis
Also known as Ribbed Limpets, they have a somewhat oval shell with strong ribs radiating from the apex. The stay in the high intertidal feeding on algae on the rocks. They are territorially and some even are even homing, returning to the same spot after a foray. Here is another picture of a specimen with more pronounced ribbing (but unfortunately the focus was off).
