Mossy Chiton: Mopalia Muscosa

 

Mossy Chiton (Mopalia Muscosa)

Other names: Mossy Mopalia, Bristly Chiton.

This chiton has a girdle of bristly hairs. The Hairy Mopalia is similar, but has much shorter bristles. (Taken at Shelter Point Reef)
