Morning Sun Star: Solaster dawsoni
This sea star typically has 12 rays, much fewer than the Sunflower Star that it loosely resembles. And though it is smaller, it is a sea star to be reckoned with. The Morning Sun Star eats other sea stars including the much larger Sunflower Star.
