The Courtenay Museum is located on Cliffe Avenue in Courtenay. Entrance is by donation with a suggested donation of $5.00. The museum is small, but it is a worthwhile trip for anyone interested in Vancouver Island fossils. The museum houses excellent specimens of most fossils found locally.

The museum also offers fossil tours where you can go with a professional paleontologist and find fossils of your own. The rates are reasonable, especially for families.
